This one-hour presentation will focus on the use of expert witnesses in County Civil insurance cases, including such topics as disclosure, fees and discovery, as well as the applicability of relevant Rules of Civil Procedure. The judges will also discuss the current case law on expert witness fees, hybrid witnesses, expert financial records and related information, and the expert's relationship to the hiring law firm. Finally, the judges will present their viewpoints on practices relevant to their divisions.
